The initial situation

The processes surrounding the administration of funds place high demands on legal compliance, are very heterogeneous and take place with counterparties all over the world. To enable efficient processing for its partners, VP Fund Solutions was looking for a signature solution that was easy to use and legally valid in both the EU and Switzerland.

The solution

VP Fund Solutions introduced simpleSIGN from fidentity, a solution that is completely web-based and works without integration. With simpleSIGN, internal and external parties can sign in a qualified manner, as identification is seamlessly integrated into the signature process. The identification only has to be run through the first time and can be used again and again for signing. Repeated signing does not require a password, but can be activated with the device login of the cell phone.
